Part of our original planning was to set up a trust for our cat, Spotty, to be cared for in the event that we might pre-decease her. Sadly, she was suddenly diagnosed with terminal lymphoma at the end of April, and we had to put her to rest. When I called that day to say the trust would no longer be needed, I think Lexi was as upset as me. Spotty was our child. Stephanie and her staff understand that.
