May 10, 2018 Excellent foundation repair
We had three bids on a repair of a cracked foundation in the garage, causing seepage. All three bids proposed different solutions, but Western's approach made the most sense - seal it up with injected sealant. The work went smoothly and was well explained; dust was kept to a minimum, and cleanup was great. In fact we found a second crack while moving out a shelving unit, and Western added that to the job at not extra charge. Very happy.

From the moment of their arrival and introductions, Kyle, Ryan, and (on the 1st day) Isaiah were in constant motion, unloading gear & materials to the basement job site, and going over the "scope" of the project including assuring me that a late addition was doable. It was immediately obvious that meticulous planning was being conscientiously applied by a well trained crew comfortable in their roles. My basement looks good for many years to come, and looking at the difference makes me feel I spent my money wisely. I would enthusiastically recommend Western Construction Systems to anyone in need of any service they provide.

Eric was fabulous from day one! Communication and follow-thru were spot on. The job Juan and his team did on our drainage issues and concrete pour were beyond superior. I will highly recommend Western Construction and will definitely call on them for work on our properties in the future!

I was most pleased with the integrity of this company and their work ethic. They were knowledgeable, conscientious, and timely. I loved that they returned calls and let me know about their progress. They did what the said they would do. Justin was awesome to work with along with their whole staff. They are my first choice for any work like this in the future.

My last experience hiring WC was very professional, efficient and of high quality workmanship. This time however, they were very disorganized from start to finish. First, I had to call to see if I had even been put on their schedule, since I didn't hear from them for 5 months. Then was told I had to make a down payment before they would schedule the work. I never received a quote until after that call. My project was rather small, but it took 7 different employees and 4 days to complete. Seriously! Talk about a receipt for miscommunication. For the cost of the project, I had expected better.

Kyle and his crew did excellent work - the basement is now dry, the foundation work is very neat - the best it has ever looked, and they did a good job of cleaning up. They were professional and prompt.

I couldn’t be happier. Tyler’s crew, led by Juan, did a beautiful job, and my site was no picnic! At the beginning of the last day I was looking at this mud field, wondering when my garden would ever be the same. And when they were done, it was PERFECT. The grass was all fine under there. They left nothing but a tidy little surgical scar. They fixed up an existing drain, and left the yard looking better than before. Every one of them was nice to me, and my dog, and my son. And they worked HARD. I’d call them again in a heartbeat. I had a lower bid for my job, and I’m so happy I went with Western.

Mar 26, 2018 professional service and work, but expensive
Very professional and friendly, from the inspection, quote, and appointment, to the execution and followup. Very impressed. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the entire job took 3 to 4 hours at most, and it cost over $2500. Unfortunately that equation does not make a lot of sense to me. The rest of the experience was top notch.

Did not finish job. Was paid cash. Had written contract did not fullfill. Went clear thru my home to use my master bath. Left window wide open. Bedroom m bathroom was gone thru by one or both workers they admitted this. Will not be paid until job is complete per written contract poor workers never recommend. Elder taken advantage of

Had some foundation cracks needed repair and pretty much got blown off by Ram-Jack and TerraFirma. Called these guys and had an inspection and written estimate within 2 days. Job was completed professionally and very much to my satisfaction. Communication between Tyler, Rachel and myself could not have been better. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Feb 24, 2018 CONSCIENTIOUS, FLEXIBLE AND COMPETENT
Before purchasing, I had bulging and cracking inside and out in the foundation of my 1912 craftsman, along with improper drainage on a steep slope. David Arana responded quickly with a proposal that made it possible to obtain a lower price. Despite an unexpected cold snap, snow and ice storm, his crew traveled from Salem to the Gorge. They initially worked in my basement with no heat. When a crew member fell sick and went home, he was quickly replaced by Justin Arana. They used an infrared heater to make the concrete set, slogged through the mud and snow to dig drain trenches, even after the ground froze, and never complained. The quality of their work is outstanding, they are true professionals! I have already recommended them to others.

The continuous foundation under my 1930s-era house had three major cracks, according to my home inspector. Western Construction Services not only repaired those cracks so that the foundation looks seamless, but they identified and repaired two other cracks that the inspector had missed!

I honestly don't have anything negative I could say about Western Construction Services! Every person I've talked with, or has come to our house to do the work, has been wonderful to work with! I wish every company I've worked with over the past 7 months had been as professional as Western Construction's staff. Great service, great employees! My experience from start to finish was exceptional. Western Construction is organized, competent and timely. I appreciated Tyler’s knowledge about water issues in a basement and his honesty about the best possible solutions for addressing the issues. Tyler’s team installed drainage pipe around the perimeter of our house to direct water from our gutters away from our foundation. The crew was on time, the work was well done and they cleaned up. Tyler was prompt and responsive to my two questions. I highly recommend Western Construction.

We recently hired Western Construction to do waterproofing in our daylight basement after firing another major company who started the process. This crew was hands down more organized, professional, confident in their work, and easy to work with from office admin to front line work crew. We would hire this company again.
