With an unexpected death they stepped in and really made us not only feel confident in their service but also attended to our family with such love, respect and absolute kindness in such a devastating time. We lost our mother last week and used VT Golden Mortuary services. They were so wonderful that I just had to find a way to give them a public review and let others know they are excellent. They were kind and so courteous when they came to our home and picked up my mother's body. They have a wonderful demeanor for such a difficult event. Another example of the quality of their work: I was responsible for writing and publishing the obituary and kept getting things wrong so I was regularly in contact with their staff. They were very prompt and clear which is so important when you are grieving and don't have the time and energy for follow up. They also reached out because we hadn't picked up the death certificates and insured those ended up where they belonged. We just feel as though we are in very competent, caring, efficient and effective hands. I have been so pleased with their services and can recommend them highly.
