5 Star Review By Joshua DeLaunay

Let me preface this with the fact that I'm the pastor's son. That said I'm almost never in the area or able to participate in the church due to how far I live and my work schedule. However I was here for Easter with my family and was very impressed with the service. The pastor, first of all is a woman, and secondly is blind. So talk about a progressive place!!! Again, I'm biased, but I think if you give it a chance, you'll see it's for a very good reason. The sermon was a perfect blend of humor, lesson and positivity. The music varies from a bit bluesy and deep to uplifting and lighthearted. And you never feel like you're being preached at. It's more like listening to a comfortable and relaxed monologue, sitting around the dinner table with family. When you enter, you're greeted like a long lost family member. Most of her congregation hasn't had the opportunity to even meet me, but they wrapped my hand with both of theirs and spoke with sincerity about how glad they are to have you. I was very proud to be a part of this service and congregation. I also wanted to thank the entire congregation for how they treated us, not even knowing who I was. It truly shows what's in the hearts of the people that attend this amazing and open place.
