Ugadi Indian Grill

Are you are curious of trying Indian food for the first time, or having difficulty straying away from your favorite "go to" Indian restaurant? If you choose to try Ugadi, I promise you won't be disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive to their customers. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The food.... Oh my goodness! I've had several Indian dishes from various places, and Ugadi is amongst my top 2. Everything we order was so good. The fried cauliflower appetizer was yummy. Me and my mother in law order the goat biryani and it was tender and huge portions. My husband order the lamb vindaloo it was so tender and great flavors. We definitely will be back.

Had such a good dinner here at Ugadi! The moment you walk in and are hit with the smell of spices, it’s like a hug of comfort. The staff was friendly and helped us decide between a few things on the menu. The lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala were good (the sauce flavor of the chicken tikka masala is different here than at our places I’ve had, sweeter maybe? I think Tandoor is still my preference for that)! We went with 3-4 for spice and it had a good kick but nothing too hot or took away from the flavor. The garlic naan was our favorite over the butter naan but both were perfectly done. We tried a cheese dosa because we’d never had dosa before and it was fun getting to try all the sauces. Overall, the tawa grilled fish was my favorite dish of the night - amazing flavor and spice and the fish was fresh and flaky. Not pictured was the not one but three mango lassi’s we ordered to go because the one we shared with the meal just wasn’t enough. Highly recommend checking them out!
