Thrive Family Dermatology

My whole family goes to Thrive Dermatology and we always had the best experience with them! From front office staff to the Doctor, they are respectful, friendly and knowledgeable. They are prompt on seeing patients, no wait lines at all! I definitely recommend this practice.

I have been going to Thrive Dermatology for three years, and always had an excellent experience. Mel at the front desk is always so warm and welcoming, and Dr. Vauter’s MA, Irene, makes you feel comfortable while asking questions. Dr. Vauter asks questions and actually listens, then gives her diagnosis, explains why, then addresses what she wants to do as treatment. Dr. Vawter is an excellent and informed physician. She is kind and knows what she is doing. I very much enjoy this practice. My only criticism is that I don't feel that she spent as much time with me this last timeas I felt a bit rushed. I've been having a lot of eye eczema, and it's been driving me crazy! My appointments was towards the end of the day, but I did feel like I left with a few unanswered questioned. I'm sure she'll answer them at the next appointment I do know she had another patient waiting. I will not give her less than 5 stars for this as I do like her a lot and appreciate her expertise. I called on dermatologists years ago as a pharmaceutical representative, and I do think she's one of the great ones with an excellent education and she went to a great school that's hard to get into. Mel up front is just a doll. She is is sweet and friendly and always remembers me when I come to the practice. Irene, the m. a. is efficient and kind. Mel is the one who totally welcomes everyone and she's a huge asset to Thrive. Dr. Vawter is one I will definitely go back to. She is no nonsense but wise and knows which treatments may help.
