Today I was invited to go have breakfast with a friend at the NE Salem location on Hwy 99E, not far from Interstate 5. Although slightly spendier than the avg breakfast restaurant . . I was pleasantly surprized at the quantity of quality food that I got, for the price. The sausage was above par, loads of hashbrowns, and my poached eggs cooked absolutely perfectly, just how I asked for them. I was very happy with the service and charming old school breakfasthouse atmosphere, as well! An excellent dining experience all the way around and happy that I gave this location a chance. Far more reasonable prices than my Portland experience, several years ago, where I felt like they wanted to gouge everyone coming through the door there, for every little thing. Different market, I guess. I ordered the sausage & egg breakfast that comes with hashbrowns or pancakes. I highly recomend this Salem location! High marks!

Not sure why I keep getting asked to review places I look up on the internet. It looks like a good place has a huge menu and not one price listed. I don’t why places do that but a lot do it. now I have taken the attitude that if I go and get seated and I don’t like the prices I will just get up and leave.
I had the vegetable omelet. It was very fluffy and delicious. I substituted the Georgia pecan pancakes for the normal ones. 😋 Chock full on pecans inside and in top. The fresh squeezed orange juice was great! The server was very nice, as well as all the other servers. I appreciate it when they remove plates from the table and check on us.
