The room was very nice. It was clean and in good repair. The staff was friendly and professional, but they forgot (and we forgot to ask) a couple of key details like when breakfast was, the wifi password, pool location... We had to figure those out ourselves. No hot tub. Breakfast was well rounded, making it better than many hotels. My wife said she could hear a chorus of snoring around us (I was part of the chorus). Bed was good. TV reception was iffy. 1st floor view was a cement wall. Overall I think we would go back.

We needed a place to stay quickly in the middle of the night. We also had our dog with us. There was a bat in our Air BandB, and we couldn't find help. Ben, the night desk clerk, got us into a room after midnight. Thank god for the Hotel Salem and Ben. Given the late hour and a long drive ahead of us, the staff worked to move us to another room for a second night so that w would be rested up. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, and etc... I rarely write reviews, but the Hotel Salem earned this one.
