Live music, delicious food and great service 😋 we went on the Thursday night and there was a man playing country/calssic rock music who was very talented, we stayed almost an hour after we were done eating just to listen. We were seated immediately upon arriving, our waitress was extremely helpful- made sure we knew we qualified for the happy hour specials. We shared mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. Then he got a burger with fries and I got sushi. The beers were plentiful- lots of varieties but sadly no beer flight or the hubby would of gotten that to try more. The fishbowl drinks are HUGE and very tasty but super filling, I was stuffed by then end of our visit.
Very fun time with good food and a fabulous server last Saturday afternoon when we went to the Grumpy Monk. Check out the pictures of our food to see the delicious fish, chicken, and sides that we got. We got salmon, we got the fried haddock, and the fries and macaroni and cheese and salad were good and fresh. The soda was delicious as well. They have their soft drink machine set correctly so that all their beverages are of good quality. We live in Surfside, so we're not up in North Myrtle Beach very often, but when we are we may have to stop by the Grumpy Monk again. There's an arcade in the front with various games for kids of all ages. Also, the restrooms were clean when we were there which is a good indication of a well managed restaurant.
