The Black Door Cafe

Black Door Coffee. A lovely, Black-owned coffee and pastry shop located in the heart of Downtown Charleston. They serve delicious croissants and other good eats along with tasty coffee ranging from cold brews to Cortados. I was a fan of how rich and smooth the flavors were and the service was excellent. The servers were very attentive and had no problem explaining anything to me. They’re a smaller cafe, but they have quite a few very comfy seats. Be sure to account for parking when visiting here because space can be at a premium Downtown. This is a small issue though compared to how nice it is inside and I would come here often if you’re downtown !

Nothing like a bike ride in Charleston and finding a gem of a cafe in a historic hotel. Sitting in my daily bike attire and feeling cozy with my delicious latte. Also love finding healthy snacks and salads around me keeping from the fresh cookies!

My first time to Charleston, and I was trying to find a cool coffee shop. This exceeded my expectations. Gorgeous decor and atmosphere. The latte I kept coming back for every day was perfect. It's also large enough inside, that you can grab your drink and sit and relax without feeling cramped with other people inside. Highly recommend!
