Thai yo Sushi

We were in town for the apple festival and looking for somewhere healthy for lunch. This spot was better than expected! The service was excellent. Everything was clean, spotless. We ordered sushi rolls and saw the friendly chef preparing them for us. We were hungry and didn't have to wait too long to eat. The food was fresh, tasty and with generous portions, roll size. We will remember this restaurant the next time we are in Molalla!

I would have given it a 5 if the regular iced tea hadn't been funky. I had the sushi & tempura dinner combination AND the yellow curry. The majority of the curry came home but I got in a taste and it was yummy! The service was very hospitable and the restaurant was clean & pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

It's good, I'm sure I'll be back again. The remodeling could have been better, but it felt clean and the fish fillets in the display case looked great. There is no sushi belt, so just be prepared for that. I don't mind it - it makes sense for a small town. We went at lunch and ordered the Pad Thai and a Salmon Tempura roll. The Pad Thai came out in a few minutes, but the sushi took a while. I thought they were both good, but my wife pointed out that the Pad Thai could have used a couple of simple extras: crushed peanuts on top, a lime wedge, and some cilantro. (I'm not sure if the cilantro is traditional or not)
