I am the type of person that is suspicious of anyone who lends money or sells products. Car salesmen, store sales clerks, and mortgage lenders are all people with whom I have had bad experiences in the past. But, when I met Tai Star, I immediately noticed that he was different. He is genuinely warm and kind. He does not try and push his clients into sub-prime mortgages just to get a sale. He is very knowledgeable about all of the lending products and the process that you will be going through. He explains everything step by step and educates his clients so they can be as informed as possible before making a decision. And lastly, he is exceedingly honest. That is the part that surprised me the most. Tai doesn't try and hide anything from his clients. He is up front about costs, fees, and outcomes when choosing a loan for your mortgage. And if an option will cost you too much in the long run, he will tell you honestly, "This option looks good on the surface, but the fees are where it's going to cost you." (his words to me about a couple of mortgage options that I considered) I have never met a lender like Tai before. I wish every lender had the integrity and honesty that he has. That said; I highly recommend Tai to anyone who is looking to purchase a home. He has your best interest at heart.
