1-Star Review of SYNLawn Houston
We had artificial turf installed in October 2025, and the entire project has been a nightmare from day one. Early on, we experienced a significant installation failure that required corrective work. Now, less than a year later, we are dealing with grass and weeds growing through the turf, and the problem continues to worsen. When we raised concerns, we were told the growth was crabgrass and that we would need to pay to have it treated. We were also informed that no weed barrier was installed because our property is located in a flood zone. To make matters worse, we were quoted an additional $1,800 to install a weed barrier after the fact on top of the substantial amount we already paid for the original installation. It is extremely frustrating to be asked to spend more money to correct issues that should have been addressed from the beginning. What has been most disappointing is that there has been a problem with this project at every stage. Rather than feeling like the company stood behind its work, we have repeatedly had to push for solutions while new issues continue to arise. Promises were made that were not followed through on, and our concerns were often met with additional costs instead of accountability. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again and would not recommend them to others.
