Sweet Spot Ice Cream Cafe

This is one of my absolute favorite icecream spots in the DMV area. If you have a hankering for something sweet, I can assure you with your extended menu. You’ll be happy. They have milkshakes ice cream, cones, coffee, hot chocolate, dessert, boards even fruit sangria, which was amazing mind you. Even better the whole entire inside of the restaurant is pink pretty and filled with so much fun aesthetic. Definitely bring your camera because you’re gonna one of those take pictures of your dessert as well as your surroundings.

This has been a favorite spot since moving here a few months ago. I love that they are open late, and that they have such a big selection to choose from. Price to amount of product you receive is also very appreciated/appropriate in my book! Especially that they have more than 2 flavors for Dairy Free options! (From what I have seen for DF, they are coconut, almond and maybe oat based. But still creamy and not always overpowering with the base flavor.)

We tried this spot after my birthday lunch, and we were not disappointed! I got the Purple Daze (Haze? Trying to recall 🫣) in a dark chocolate cone. The flavors were perfect! It is really soft ice cream, so you'll need to be a quick eater if you get a cone. So many flavors to choose from, even for someone like me who has multiple allergies (tree nuts, peanuts, coconut, chick peas, soy protein). That's a huge deal for me - many ice cream places have only a couple of flavors that are safe for me. Sweet Spot also has slices of cake, shakes, and coffee, but our group only had ice cream.
