I just happened to see their sign from the road and decides to have a late lunch. The southern style food was amazing. Mashed potatoes and gravy, southern green beans, limas, all the good "grandma made it like this" sides! Fried chicken, baked chicken, fried fish, everything was great! Staff is friendly and attentive. Someone is constantly doing something. Cleaning tables, cleaning at the buffett, rotating food etc. This could be one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in the area. $15 includes buffet & drink for lunch, very reasonable, I think. Highly recommend!!
Ribs were super, fish was tender and crispy and moist, the fried chicken was amazing, fresh mashed potatoes!!! Mac and cheese was the best I ever had in a buffet, the sweet potato casserole was sweet and clovey, unexpected and yet delicious! All the bean types you could desire and yummy. The hush puppies were nothing I'd ever tasted before a little sweetness not dry, just satisfying. End all that deliciousness with hot cobbler and ice cream, yes please! Loved it! Loved the staff, loved the price, loved the gospel singing waitress! Felt like I didn't need to go to church! Thank you for the great meal and memories!
