Samaritan Medical Clinics - North Albany

I've been seeing Dr. Knutson for at least a year. He's great! He has been very helpful and understanding of my care. I would say he's one the best medical doctors in this area. Especially for OHP patients. I just got some sad news today. Unfortunately Dr. Knutson is no longer going to be a doc anymore after August of 2024.

I truly appreciate this hospital and the kind care I received when I went in for a surgery. I give them five stars for excellence, and professionalism. They were attentive towards me, and very polite. Most of the nurses there are cross trained, so that’s pretty awesome. I only have nothing but good things to say about this hospital and their staff. Thank you for your hospitality and hard work. It is noticed.

My primary care physician Dr. Knutson was in residency when he became my doctor, and from the very beginning he was very compassionate and listened to everything I had to say. He took very good care of all my health issues and concerns. After he completed his residency he moved to Samaritan Medical Clinic-North Albany. I received a notice in the mail stating that he was moving from the Samaritan Residency Clinic near the hospital in Corvallis to the North Albany location and would like to continue being my PCP. I gladly accepted his kind offer and an appointment was made for me there to continue under his care. He is humble and kind and very attentive to all of my needs, and includes my wishes and concerns when making medical decisions for my ongoing care. If I could rate him 10 stars I would! Also, ALL of the personnel working at the North Albany Samaritan Clinic are so kind and helpful including the physician’s assistant, the front desk, the appointment schedulers, and the phlebotomist in the lab! Very good job Samaritan!
