Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

It was a very good time. The pretzel bites with beer cheese was so tasty, as was the Crispy Chicken sandwich and garlic fries. My favorite though was the Poppin' Purple Lemonade, which is so delicious!

I’ve only eaten here twice, and each time, we noticed the same two things: 1. the food is amazing, and 2. the restaurant is frigid- like, we had to huddle for warmth under an icy gale coming from the vents. So, we came for lunch today, and it wasn’t crowded at all. At one point, we thought we might be the only patrons in the whole restaurant. Service was speedy and attentive. Food came quickly and everything was accurate. I got a Southern Charm burger with sweet potato fries, and the mister got a Scorpion burger with onion rings. Baby got a side of broccoli, but she mostly ate sweet potato fries because they were crispy and delicious and she knows what’s good. Last visit, I signed up for the rewards program, so I had a BOGO 50% off coupon. We also had a $25 gift card. After all those discounts, our portion was still $15, which surprised me, but I guess prices are up everywhere. We decided we would only eat here again with a coupon and a coat.

We seen a commercial on television that advertised a special that Red Robin was running for a total meal for $10. The meal included your choice of one of 3 burgers (the gourmet burger, the banzai burger, or the whiskey bbq burger), endless fries, and a drink. With prices being so high everywhere else, I felt like it was a reasonable deal and decided to give them a try. The food came out fast, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. We all enjoyed our burgers and found the fries to be quite good. My only complaint was that even though the deal was being constantly advertised on tv and the radio, there was no sign of it once you entered the restaurant. I had to ask the server about it in order to receive the deal. So make sure you ask before you order if you go while the deal is still on.
