Red Apple Campground

We just spent 10 days at this wonderful campground. It was meticulously maintained. Sites were very nice. Owner Jane was very welcoming & delivered fresh cooked lobster to our site in a vintage truck for a very reasonable price. Loved that! We met several work campers in seasonal sites who were very friendly & welcoming! They had an excellent band play on Sunday of Memorial day weekend that we enjoyed very much!

We loved this campground above all others we stayed at in Maine. The sites are nicely spaced apart, the campground is clean and well equipped. The staff are super friendly but the very best thing of all is the fresh steamed lobster delivered to your door in their cute little red truck. At only $8 for a 1.5lb lobster this is the best deal we found in Maine. Super delicious and so fun!!!

Well run, laid back fun place to stay. Park is designed well with quite a few seasonal spots. Everyone is very friendly. They work hard to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. Example: forgot dish liquid, they were sold out at camp store, man went out back and returned with some dish liquid in a cup to last me until I could get some. Above and beyond good customer service! Ordering lobsters to be delivered to your campsite was a big hit with our party! So reasonably priced. Bathhouse was extremely clean. Kudos for that one. Lots of hot water for showers. Location of park is central to numerous attractions, but very quite. Definitely will go back.
