Prairie Creek Park

This is a nice park that is situated close of the highway in Norman. Great stop for families. I love the fact that it has artificial turf and you can see pretty much see the whole playground from all vantage points. If you’re looking to have some stretch time off the highway or just want to let your kids one riled. This is the place!

I recently visited Prairie Creek Park and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The park was well-maintained and had a variety of amenities to enjoy, including walking trails, picnic areas, and playgrounds for kids. The scenery was beautiful, with tall trees and a winding creek running through the park. The park staff were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the ample parking and clean restrooms. What stood out the most to me about Prairie Creek Park was the sense of peace and tranquility it provided. Even though it was a busy weekend day, the park never felt overcrowded, and I was able to find a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, I highly recommend Prairie Creek Park to anyone looking for a great outdoor experience. It's a fantastic park that's perfect for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature. I would give it a five-star rating without hesitation.

Great park with nice new playground equipment. Features include: -swings, baby swings, handicap swing -picnic tables -picnic pavilion -basketball court (one goal) -soccer field (two goals) -baseball backstop -long bridge over the creek to another park -sidewalk around the park (about 1/4 mile) -water fountain Street parking only. One of Norman’s best parks.
