Pioneer Library System - Norman Public Library Central

This library is amazing. The outside is beautiful including the architecture but also the native plant gardens and huge abstract sculpture. The kid area is great and has a section for smaller kids in between the books. They also usually have a critter on display near the entrance to the children's area. They have several great meeting rooms that fit many different needs and group sizes. The maker's lab is awesome and the staff is always super friendly and helpful in there. My 10 year old loves going in there and creating small figures with their 3d printer or laser cutting fun signs and shapes. There is also a room to make videos and another to record music. There is also an embroidery machine that is free to use.

It was my first time going here today. I took my little to get some books, there were so many books! I feel like I need a whole day to look at everything on all the levels. It was very nice and the building itself is beautiful. I loved all of the different views you saw from the different floors, and the inside architecture was amazing.

A great library full of helpful friendly staff. Lots of classes and resources here. Kids love it. Must check out for yourself.
