Oakhurst Park

This park used to be run down, but after the renovations I worked say it is possibly one of the better parks in norman. Lots of creative objects for kids to play on, a good walking trail, and fantastic tree coverage (doesn't get too hot in the summer). Would definitely recommend.

Great park! Good amount of land and enough toys to play on for everyone. Very pleased with the park upgrades!

There are tons of boxes and shelves of food to help the homeless and people that are hungry or kids that are hungry and it is so nice they always keep that park pretty well stocked, well up kept and There's usually an officer roaming the block which would get there really fast if needed. It has wonderful parking and it's pretty well in the center of lots of apartment complexes and homes were the kids playing out there often.
