Northwest Barber Shop Albany

The shop was recommended by a coworker. We stopped in this afternoon to see if they would have time and be open to doing our son’s first haircut. I was a bit nervous as to how it would go as it was a first haircut and our 18 month old is deaf. Without knowing, turns out Jacob, one of the barbers, is fluent in ASL! It was an amazing coincidence. He was so good with our squirmy, nervous kiddo. Whenever he would get antsy, Jacob would sign to him and he would calm back down. His haircut turned out great. I cannot say enough about the whole experience. We will be back and will certainly recommend Jacob and the shop to anyone who is looking for a new barber.

Call ahead- appointments are STRONGLY encouraged. These guys are fantastic! but people know it so they are booked really tight. I showed up as a walk in and was able to wait for an opening butt others were not as fortunate. First time in after not having a trim in months so there wasn't much of a clue for them to tell what it was supposed to look like but they nailed it from my generic description. Reasonable rates, great service, super friendly, hidden location but good parking.

Jacob is conscientious and attentive. I’ve never had a barber take such care in getting me to the style I want. He definitely has both skills and talent.
