Monteith Riverpark

Super solid park across the street from college world. There’s usually plenty of parking and it’s big enough that you can have space if you’d like. There’s all kinds of unique little gems: the giant bones, a train you can climb all over, nearby river spots and tons of room for pups to roam.

This park has many picnic table and outdoor bbq pits available. The public restrooms are closed until spring unfortunately. From here you have access to riverfront trail. The amphitheater shows the different high water marks from the past too.

Monteith Park is a great family park. It's huge with numerous trails that start from the park and run along the Willamette river. The newly added carousel is adjacent to the park and is a great spot for you and the kids to come and play! I strongly suggest that if you visit our lovely town of Albany that you visit Monteith park, take a ride on the carousel, and enjoy the long trails that run next to the river..... Especially in the evening and especially with your significant other!! :)
