Sean, their marketing manager, is also an absolute pleasure to work with and has become one of those professional connections you are always genuinely happy to hear from and look forward to seeing again. Greg is consistently professional, knowledgeable, and just great to talk through project details with, and you can really feel the family-owned and operated nature of the business throughout the team. Their countertop work is especially impressive. They offer a huge selection and have so much skill working with quartz and granite countertops, including custom stone fabrication. We brought them a fairly wild idea for a sliding granite backsplash, and they went above and beyond to make it happen. They worked tirelessly to get it templated, fabricated, and installed quickly, and the finished result is absolutely stunning. They primarily work throughout Linn County and the Albany area, but they were also kind enough to come all the way to Salem for us, which we really appreciated. I was so impressed with the vibes the team brought to the job site. From project coordination and site preparation to custom stone fabrication, countertops, and client communication, working with McHenry has always been smooth, professional, and enjoyable. Their clients are consistently happy, and we are always excited when we get the chance to collaborate with them.

My family all lives together, so when we bought a new house, we knew it was going to take some creativity and major changes to make the space work for everyone. My dad came up with a completely insane backsplash idea: a hidden granite cabinet that slides open to store seasonings, utensils, and other everyday items. We reached out to McHenry because they’re a family-owned business we knew would take on a crazy request with determination instead of immediately telling us no. I was genuinely blown away by how kind everyone was in our home and how quickly they templated, fabricated, and brought the idea to life. It turned out AMAZING, it is seriously so cool. Greg and Jaylene were so much fun to talk with throughout the process, and I’m genuinely excited to work with their team again as we continue renovating the rest of the house and turning it into the perfect multi-family home for us!!!!

A good builder needs competence, flexibility, and communication. McHenry did a great job at all 3 and we were extremely pleased. Excellence seems to be part of their DNA, and over and over they went the extra mile. It was also great to be around a crew that was having fun as they worked. I don't think you can do better than going with them for your project.

This review is long overdue. It took us a few months to truly appreciate the level of craftsmanship, care, and dedication that McHenry Remodeling put into our home. We hired McHenry Remodeling in September 2025 to renovate our kitchen, laundry room, pantry, and half bath. What started as a straightforward remodel quickly grew into a much larger project, but through every change the entire team remained patient, flexible, and incredibly professional. After years of tackling DIY projects ourselves, we decided this renovation deserved experienced professionals. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We met with several contractors throughout Albany, Corvallis, and Salem, but McHenry stood out immediately. They listened to our vision, offered thoughtful guidance, and never made us feel like just another project. The work itself was exceptional. Every aspect—framing, electrical, drywall, cabinetry, painting, lighting, countertops, and tile—was completed with remarkable attention to detail. They never cut corners and consistently chose quality over rushing to meet a deadline. The end result exceeded everything we had imagined. Halfway through the remodel, a major windstorm caused significant damage to our roof and carport when large tree limbs fell onto our home. Despite already managing a large renovation, the McHenry team stepped in immediately to help with emergency repairs and protect our home. We'll never forget that. What impressed us most was the people. Dave's craftsmanship is second to none, Josh tackled every challenge with creativity and determination, Jamie kept communication clear while somehow making stressful moments enjoyable, Greg's tile work and character are equally outstanding, and Mike's leadership and commitment to quality were evident every single day. Behind the scenes, Johanna and Jaylene kept everything organized and running smoothly, making the entire process feel seamless. By the end of the project, we genuinely missed having the team around. They didn't just renovate our home—they helped create a space that truly reflects who we are. We trusted them with one of the biggest investments we'll ever make, and they exceeded every expectation. If you're looking for a remodeling company that combines incredible craftsmanship with honesty, professionalism, and people who truly care about their clients, I cannot recommend McHenry Remodeling highly enough. We had a vision of what we wanted for a kitchen remodel that included the removal of 2 walls to open up the area between the kitchen and the living room and family room. McHenry’s made this happen for us!!! They provided us support and direction every step of the way. From picking out counter tops, cabinets, and the accessories they also helped us design the dream kitchen we wanted. After the hard part of selecting our design and products they started the project. The walls came down and the very impressive beam was installed and the new kitchen began. They worked very quickly, carefully, efficiently and meticulously and were able to complete the kitchen remodel in 4 weeks start to finish. If you were to walk into our house today you would never know it wasn’t built this way.
