Lovely people and good food (we had a cheese pizza between the two of us) at the Main Event! The owners Mike and Mara sent out some melon for dessert which was very delicious. Our waitress Peggy was very kind too and made a really interesting drink with shrimp, jerky, and celery for another patron. Would definitely recommend!
For a small town restaurant, it’s pretty good! Asked if they cook their burgers to temperature, and waitress said they do. Asked for medium rare. Got charred overcooked meat. I asked the waitress if that’s how they always cook it, she replied “I asked him to make it medium rare..”. She was a sweetheart! Really tried to make everything she could to make my experience great! Was it great? No. Was it good enough? For sure! Was it plenty of food and affordable - you bet it was!
