Lux Sucre Bakery + Cafe

The wedding vendor we spent the most time making our decision on was our baker. We had some high standards we were looking for in terms of flavors and Lux Sucre was the only bakery we tried that met them. We had lemon poppyseed raspberry as our cake flavor and it was incredible! They did an entire dessert table for us and set it up beautifully. One note, they don't seem to have any gluten free options. Maybe we could have made a special request had we remembered to think about it ahead of time, but it'd be nice if they had more gluten free options for the dessert table or had the option for some to be made that way. But that's on us for not thinking about it until after we had already ordered. Absolutely love this place and highly recommend them and every single one of their delicious desserts!

They did a great job on my wedding cake, everyone loved it! I highly recommend their carrot cake, it was delicious. Their macarons were a huge hit as well at my reception, and everyone loved them. If you’re looking for a wedding cake and dessert bakery, this is the place to go. Great communication as well and they give you a really nice tasting sampler box to help you with your decisions.

We used them for our elopement in the Gorge. And they went above and beyond for us. Their pastries are amazing. The owner let us come get them early just to accommodate our schedule. And he was super responsive to my emails. We tried at least half a dozen different places in Portland and this one was the best by a mile.
