Light and Plug

I contacted Jim at Light and Plug to troubleshoot why we lost power to our garage outlets and to fix the overhead fluorescent lights that stopped working. He responded almost immediately to my inquiry and we set up an appointment for just a few days after that. He texted me before he arrived, he arrived in time, diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, and did the job all in the same morning. He was very conscientious about keeping the area clean (even though he had to go into the attic and a crawl space). He answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. Jim is basically everything you could ask for in a home electrician - depth of knowledge, great customer service, fair price, and he’s a nice guy - solid 5 star rating!

Installed a generator outlet as requested and took the time needed for all my questions about the job and recommendations on an upcoming job also. Jim works very neatly and is very thorough, he noticed some loose connections in the panel and fixed those too. Very pleased.

Jim has done a number of different projects for us and is always excellent! He has switched out old receptacles, fixed some faulty wiring, installed an outdoor fixture, did a great job with a difficult install of an outlet for a fireplace insert fan, and most recently installed a large electric shop heater for us. Jim is very knowledgeable, friendly, thorough and reliable. Very highly recommend!
