My son has been training here for almost 3 years and it has been a life changing experience for him and our family. We tried another form of martial arts that claimed they would help with behavior issues but he was “excused” after only a month because he was too much for them. Kensho welcomed him with open, yet stern arms and the transformation has been noticed by family and teachers through these past few years. Mrs. Sherry and the other instructors hold the children to a strict standard but coach them in a way that caters to each individuals needs. If you are on the fence, do a week trial and let their dedication to martial arts speak for themselves.

I had the chance to train with Ms. Sherry for multiple years prior to her opening Kensho Martial Arts, and I can honestly say she’s one of the best in the area. She’s skilled, patient, and truly cares about her students. Not just as a teacher, but as a person. Her professionalism and expertise make her a great fit for training kids and adults alike. The dojo itself is clean, well-organized, well-equipped and is a welcoming space great for people of all skill levels and backgrounds.
