Joy Huffman joined the Keizer Community Foundation as its newest board member in August of 2024. She is a Pacific Northwest native having been born in Washington and lived in various parts of Oregon most of her life. Joy manages an accounting team at SingerLewak; she has taught numerous Accounting and QuickBooks classes and enjoys working with people. Joy graduated with her BA in Psychology from a small bible college in Northern California. She loves to sing at church, tour local wineries, dance at her husband’s band gigs, play pinochle, travel, and shop with her daughter who lives in Texas. Joy taught high-risk kids for several years at a weekly class held at her church and after moving to Salem back in 2017, started getting involved in the Keizer community through the Keizer Network of Women. Joy had been looking for a non-profit to join when she learned about the Keizer Community Foundation. She’s excited to be a part of the board and to be giving back to the Keizer community.
