The Keizer Rotary Foundation awards a $10,000 Grant to The Keizer Community Foundation to support their Keizer Kloset Program.
The Keizer Rotary Foundation’s global focus on supporting basic education and literacy for children aligns seamlessly with the heart of the Keizer Community Foundation’s Kloset initiative. By providing students with the essentials they need to feel confident, safe, and prepared, this partnership helps remove barriers that can impact a child’s ability to focus on their education.
“We are deeply grateful for the Keizer Rotary Foundation’s continued partnership and their belief in the work we are doing for local kids,” said Audrey Butler of the Keizer Community Foundation. “This grant will allow us to ensure children have the support they need this year, to engage fully in school, and it releases teacher/counselor anxiety from trying to meet those needs. Annually it takes $30,000 to sustain this program in all 10 of our local schools. Any donation, large or small helps us continue the program’s success.”
The Keizer Community Foundation and Keizer Rotary Foundation share a commitment to uplifting local families, strengthening educational opportunities, and building a stronger community together. This latest grant represents an investment not only in resources, but in the long-term potential of the children who will benefit.
