Herbert C. Young Community Center

Nice place for family recreation and fun.

This building is great, always clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy being at work. We had a lacrosse camp in the gymnasium. It was set up in half the gym with the other half being a basketball camp. It was nice to have a sports summer camp inside where I didn't have to worry about heat stroke or sun burns.

For a municipal building and parking structure it was rather modern. But Cary does have a lot of money to put into its govermental facilities. Parking was very easy though I am assuming I was visiting at a slow time of day. The elevator had a horrendous stench. The actual building we went to for early voting had a great front desk area with a attentive and pleasant staff member. All the rooms were well decorated and spacious, there appears to be a basketball gym that looked pretty good. All the rooms and the gym were well lit. Probably one of the best government sites I have been to.
