Hee Hee Illahee Rv Resort

Stay here whenever you get the opportunity. Pam, John, and the staff were absolutely the most accommodating and welcoming of any RV resort where I have stayed. Great people and they just made you feel like family. And in a non-intrusive way as well. It was just perfect. If it were possible to give a higher rating and a better review; I certainly would! ...because they deserve it!

It's a nice place to stay but older rigs aren't really allowed.

My family and I spent a week and half here at the beginning of August. I had some concerns due to some other reviews but fortunately we did not experience any issues with theft or with the nearby freeway, train tracks or businesses next door. In regards to the nearby homeless camp, I only saw one person riding through the park while we were there. The front office staff was nice every time we called and also the couple of times we were there in person, so no issues there either as was reported by others. The site we were given was near the front and was very wide and more than long enough to accommodate our 5th wheel and truck. Everything was nice and clean and we really enjoyed having this park as our home base for the duration of our time in Salem. I only knocked off one star because my family said the bathrooms near the pool were not as clean as other places we have stayed, but I suspect that is because there were a lot of people there the weekend we arrived and the pool and bathrooms were being heavily used. We have our own facilities so it wasn't a huge deal in my opinion. Overall this is a nice park and I would have no issues staying here again.
