Hearing Anew

This is the second set of hearing aids Hearing Solutions has provided to me and both sets have been excellent. Though the cost is high (and my business does not offer a rider to cover hearing aids), the benefits have been worth the expense. As a high school English teacher, I am constantly confronted with a wide variety of student voices. Some are easier to hear than others, but having hearing aids has made that task all but incidental. Over the past ten years, I have had a renewed life in the classroom because now I don't have to strain to hear students with soft voices or hear students from across the room or in a crowd. In addition, my personal life at home and out with friends has been improved significantly because of my hearing aids. I can now hear what's being said in conversations, both in the quiet of my home or in the noise of a party or restaurant. I have also received great care from Hearing Solutions when I've had the need for followup appointments or had a hearing aid in need of repair. Knowing all of the ins and outs of both the mechanics of the hearing aid and the vagaries of company repair policies, Hearing Solutions has helped me navigate anything and everything related to my hearing aids.

    Careful, thorough diagnostics and hearing aid fitting

    Anita takes time to evaluate thoroughly her clients’ hearing losses, and then fits and sets up the appropriate hearing aids. Her follow up appointments address issues as they come up, rather than simply turning users loose to figure out how to work their hearing aids. My aids are incredible. I hear so much better, and love the natural tonality of what I hear. I am grateful for Anita’s experience and skill.

    My New Hearing Aids Are Fabulous

    I first got hearing aids 3 years ago. While they were very helpful, my hearing continued to decline and I needed to replace them with a new model and prescription a few weeks ago. The improvement in my quality of life has been astounding! Not only is my hearing really really good now, I am feeling more energized, clear headed, and engaged in life. Conversations are much easier and more delightful and, being able to hear all the sounds of daily life (from movies to bird songs), I just feel more awake. I am so grateful for the highly professional help provided by Anita Carroll!

    They have changed my life.

    I had been to see two audiologists before seeing Anita Carroll. Both told me that even though I was experiencing some hearing loss in the higher ranges, hearing aids wouldn't do much for me. The difference at Hearing Solutions is that I was encouraged to bring my wife in with me, so she could talk about her experience with my hearing loss. Anita thought hearing aids could help, and she was right: they have changed my experience of being in the world. It's as if they've opened up new spaces in my brain I didn't know were there. I can hear and think more clearly. I have more energy, because it's hard to work at hearing, and now I don't have to work as hard. None of this was I aware of or prepared for. It's the best thing I've done for myself (and my wife) in a long, long time.

    Transformative!

    Dr Carroll thoroughly tested/evaluated my hearing loss and fitted me with Phonak hearing aids. These aids were programmed specifically for my sound spectrum loss. I now can participate in conversations in noisy restaurants as well as hearing chirping birds in the woods! Never realized what I had been missing. What is it worth to be able to clearly hear again?

    Bluetooth hearing aids are fantastic

    I am so glad I followed Anita's advice and got the newer technology hearing aids with the bluetooth feature. I was having trouble hearing on the phone and the bluetooth technology resulted in a big improvement. I also love being able to cook while talking on the phone since my hands are free.
