Hadeed-Mercer Rug Cleaning, Inc.

*I'm writing this 3 months after my area rug was cleaned and the mildewy smell it had in it is definitely gone for good! In 2018, my vintage handmade 6 x 9 Turkish rug sustained damage from Hurricane Michael. A previous company tried to get the mildew smell out and could not. When I got it back from Hadeed-Mercer the smell was gone and the colors were so bright! Excellent company communication. James and Tyler picked up the rug in January 2026. They arrived on time and were very polite. I went with their recommendations to get an extra neutralizing soak and get a rug pad. A week later another set of nice men returned the rug and set it in the room I wanted. Totally pleased with the results!

Fast service with good results. Several attempts to upsell services, which we declined. Three large oriental rugs cleaned for just under $1K. A deposit due at order of $125 with the balanced charged before delivery. Rugs were delivered rolled and wrapped in paper (not placed), but owner was not home to direct placement. We would use this company again; however, if rugs are stained, damaged or have pet damage, it’s likely cheaper to replace the rug.

I contacted Hadeed-Mercer Rug Cleaning on-line for an estimate on 2 small rugs (4x6 and a 5 ‘ octagon). They called within 2 hours with an estimate which was very reasonable. They offered pick-up and delivery for a nominal charge. They picked up the rugs the next day exactly when they said and called 15 minutes ahead of their arrival. They were very professional in explaining the cleaning process to me and how the charges broke down. They noticed we did not have appropriate padding for the quality of the rugs which were made 25 years ago to coordinate with the furniture in our living room. They offered to have padding cut and delivered with the cleaned rugs for a very reasonable charge. They were very helpful and courteous. The same employees delivered our beautifully cleaned rugs exactly 1 week later and laid them in place making sure we were pleased. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service and results of the cleaning process. Thank you Hadeed-Mercer!
