Habitat for Humanity of Omaha

Had a great experience volunteering and giving back to the community today. I worked with some very humble, caring, kind hearted people. We spent several hours building a home for a very fortunate family. Jordan was our team lead and he was very knowledgeable and communicated with everyone very professionally. If you are reading this, look up Habitat for Humanity and give a few hours to help a family with your sweat labor. Habitat for Humanity is a great organization and they are doing some very good things in Omaha, for the people of Omaha. They have several programs to help families become a home owner.

11 students and I spent a day with a little demo and a lot of framing with construction foreman Randy. Great day. Randy taught us a lot, fun work alongside the owner and beautiful weather.

They do absolutely amazing work building affordable homes for lower income families as well as assisting in financing of homes. Our church has volunteers that will periodically help for one day in remodels.
