Very fast and friendly service! The food was fresh, my favorite items were the rolls, beef fajitas, and the cheese fries, which were all amazing. I'd say the portion sizes are very good here. For my entree, I had the patty melt. Honestly it wasn't my favorite, the meat wasn't the best, and I believe whataburger has better patty melts. We also had the chicken and beef fajitas with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The beef fajitas were amazing and flavorful, however the chicken was a bit dry so I'd recommend just getting beef. The mashed potatoes were good, but the mac and cheese wasn't anything amazing, Chick-fil-A has better mac. I'd come back and order different items to give this restaurant another try!

It is an experience, and your first sign of its popularity is just how busy it is! You have serval different places to sit, each with a different decor and seating. You'll find a wide variety of choices to meet a group with different tastes. The sweets are amazing too! If this is the first time you've been to Waco, you need to stop in and try this place. You won't be disappointed.

George’s was hands down one of the best meals on our trip so far!!! Our server, Coco, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She took the time to help us decide what to order, and every recommendation was spot on. We started with the Bear Bites. They are practically a meal all by themselves! Then Coco suggested the blackened shrimp tacos for Chad, and he was completely blown away by how good they were. I ordered the steak fingers, and they were perfect. Super tender on the inside with an incredibly crunchy coating on the outside. Exactly how steak fingers should be! We both got the onion rings, and geez, they were HUGE! The Texas portions were so big that we ended up taking a ton of food back to the hotel. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. Coco truly made our experience memorable. Thanks again, Coco! If you ever make it through North Carolina again, give us a wave! 👋

We sat at the "Table of Knowledge " for lunch. They knew‼️🤠👍 The food was fantastic. Their famous onion rings are huge and good. The chicken fried steak was massive and "5 Star" delicious. The meat loaf was everything: big, delicious and full of flavor‼️😋 All the sides were good too.

If you're able foodie and looking for the dining heart of Waco,TX then look no further than George's. The staff was beyond welcoming and made you feel like this was the only place you wanted to be. With a slightly over modest crowd we were promptly seated and our orders were taken in less than 3 minutes. No more than 10 minutes went by and our food was served hot and ready. The drinks are sailor approved, the food was impeccable and the environment screams welcome to Waco. 10/10 I would recommend this place to the father, son and the holy ghost if they were looking to the total package. Kudos to everyone involved in making this a worthy experience.
