Fred Meyer

My family and I like this location. It's clean and well kept, and the parking lot is well kept and well lit. There is a good selection of food in the grocery section, and a nice selection of houseware and clothing in the other sections. The employees are friendly, and they've always gotten us through the checkout line fairly quickly. The few times I've had questions the employees have always been very helpful. At this point, some of their employees remember me which is nice. I like the fact that they have sales sometimes. Prices may be a little higher at times than your Walmart, but when they put something on sale it really goes on sale. Plus, the store is cleaner, the employees are friendlier and they have non self-checkout open so it all evens out. They also participate in the sodastream CO2 bottle exchange Exchanging soda stream CO2 bottles is a snap here. Overall, this is one of the nicer Fred Meyers in the area.

I think the only time a review on chain stores matters is if the staff are so unbelievably unhinged that it requires the local publicity to be known. Lots of autistic people over sharing while I checkout. Love it
