Listen, if you have a food allergies of any kind the in-house catering will do its best to kill you. There is absolutely zero food handling training or smart execution around that as far as I can tell. I attended a conference here and know the organizers. I have celiac disease and can't handle gluten. The organizers for sure asked as to their ability to accommodate food allergies and they claimed capability. Gluten free bagels for breakfast stacked on the same plating with the glutenous ones. Pasta dinner with the gluten free pasta next to the glutenous pasta and everyone swapping serving spoons back and forth. Food labeling all over the place. Definitely got sick after eating a corn tortilla taco lunch with God knows what practices in the kitchen. The meals were part of the cost and part of the registration fee. The purpose is to socialize and interact and instead I have to go into town to go get meals either by myself or after asking friends to bail to join me. Absolutely ridiculous.

Love this event center. It's a great space for a lot of different community activities.
Many vendors and free parking on-site. Various crafts, plants, wood carvings and laser designs. Very pleasant atmosphere with friendly and helpful creators.
Last night attended Wrong Window play here. The cast was amazing, even having last minute lead changes due to medical the cast made an incredible fun evening. This center is beautiful and such a gem found on my quick trip to Florence. Thanks to the cast, volunteers and Florence for keeping live theater alive and well.
Our congregation from The Living Church of God recently celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles at the Florence Event Center, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. The facility itself is impeccable, boasting a spacious and acoustically pleasing auditorium that comfortably accommodated our group of over 100 people. The staff were exceptionally attentive and professional, ensuring that our event ran smoothly from start to finish. The culinary offerings deserve special mention. We were treated to two delightful luncheons featuring a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. The mac and cheese, a crowd favorite, was on offer during both luncheons, much to our delight. The baked half potato topped with cheddar cheese was a savory treat, and the green mix salad provided a fresh counterpoint. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the tri-tip was succulent and flavorful. All in all, the Florence Event Center provided an environment that was both elegant and welcoming. It played a pivotal role in making our Feast of Tabernacles celebration a resounding success. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for any event, large or small. Kudos to the team for their outstanding service!

“This place is an amazing venue that hosts all kinds of events. From home and garden shows, and theater productions, it becomes a concert hall for local schools to perform, and will even turn into a wedding venue. Florence is an awesome town and this center helps make it that way.”
