Loved this restaurant and had a great dining experience here. Chicken sandwhich was soggy but tasted good. Great interior and views from the deck.

Filberts Farmhouse Kitchen in Aurora is a wonderful dining experience with exceptional service and a truly outstanding atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the setting felt warm, charming, and inviting—the kind of place that makes a leisurely lunch feel like a special occasion. The service was excellent throughout our visit: attentive, gracious, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The absolute highlight was the house-baked cornbread served with sweet butter and hot honey. It was extraordinary—warm, rich, slightly sweet, and so indulgent that it could almost pass for dessert. Honestly, it was worth the visit all by itself! My wife had the chilled chicken salad with dark cherries, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The combination was fresh, flavorful, beautifully balanced, and very enjoyable. I tried the carrot bisque, which had a lovely depth of flavor, although it was just a touch on the salty side for my taste. I also had the spare ribs. Overall they were enjoyable, although the ribs themselves did not seem quite as fresh or tender as I had hoped. Even with those small observations, our overall experience was excellent. The beautiful farmhouse atmosphere, wonderful service, thoughtful menu, and especially that unforgettable cornbread made for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Filberts Farmhouse Kitchen is a charming Aurora destination that we would gladly visit again. Five stars for the overall experience!

Great tasing food. A bit on the pricey side though really too quality ingredients. The atmosphere is amazing. So many items on the menu to try. Will return soon and update. The burger and the meatloaf sandwich this time. Topped off with an Aperol spritz. So refreshing.

The food was very good, and we truly enjoyed the atmosphere. However, we did notice some flies flying around our table, which was a bit upsetting. I hope the restaurant can find a way to improve fly control so future guests can have an even better experience.

Food was great. Services started off great, but then our server went on break the the person following was atrocious. The new server didn’t introduce herself so we didn’t know who our new server was. When she finally came, 25 minutes later, I asked for the bill and and a box for our food. It took her 15 minutes to bring the bill and she didn’t bring a box. I had to ask a kitchen staff for a box. This was an anniversary meal that I took my wife out for and it defiantly left sour taste in my mouth. Food came out fast once ordered. The food was great. Our first server was fabulous but the rest of the experience fell very flat. With an establishment this big, it needs more than 2 servers. This place checks all the boxes, with the exception of service.
