Explorium of Lexington

Great for children 7 and under, but will feel baby-ish to older kids. We are visiting from out of town and stopped for the kids to get out some energy. The bubble room was a favorite of the kids. Mine was getting to "milk" the cow. Water shot out of the teets which was hilarious. A bit older decor and slightly dated feel *but* there are signs saying there will be renovations. A major plus is all placards have Spanish in addition to English.

Was in the area due to a wedding and had some down time to go exploring with the little. We highly enjoyed the explorium. Is a great place for young children to explore, play, and learn. One of the things my child enjoyed the most was building paper airplanes and launching them throw rings hanging from the ceiling. We had a lot of fun together and highly encourage parents with younger children to check it out

Great place to let the kids learn about some local farms, space travel and dinosaurs! They also have a Bearded Dragon named Blaze!! The best exhibit is the airplane launcher upstairs! The staff was nice and helpful explaining the star show exhibit when the kiddos had questions. Visit and let the kids milk the cow.. yep.. it's there..
