My son loves going to karate, he started about a year ago with a language barrier..but he definitely didn't let that stop him 👍🏽💙 he faced his fears and had the courage to attend class and focus to be his very best. His confidence, strength and self-esteem has improved dramatically! He is one of the loudest in his class. And he definitely takes pride in that ha. He is always so excited when he receives his next stripe, and not to mention testing days🤗 are his favorite 💙 he gets all happy when he receives his stuffed animals 🥰 The place is very clean and everyone is always so helpful and friendly.

My little one is a little under 4.5 years old. This was the third karate studio we took him in the area , trying to find something more comfortable for him. This is the Do Jo for him and us. Many children in his age range , clean place, fun environment with structure. He participated right away , the instructors are very friendly. This Do Jo instills confidence, good behavior and respect with a very caring environment and tone. They also give a Military discount. We signed our little one up after the first training session of the introduction special, because it's that good. We also drive 25 minutes each way when there are DO JOs as close as 5 minutes away--why? Because it's that good! ( second time I've told you!!!) Highly, highly recommended. Updated 5/2023 - after 8-9 months of training my little one has blossomed - super strong voice, confidence, kicks and punches - his focus levels are growing -he’s more personable - they really do have a positive approach in building children up in mind, body, honesty and determination and heart -well worth the money

It has been pretty amazing to watch Maverick learn from the life skills that ATA martial arts presents to the kids. They really do think they're just learning cool moves and some self-defense but what they don't notice are the skills they've gained that they will carry through adulthood. Since starting classes we have seen him do better in school, better focus, listening skills, take better direction, just to name a few things. I definitely reccomend ATA Martial Arts Keizer. The instructors are all so great with the kids. They are stern and hold them all accountable but also realize that they are kids and they will make mistakes. It's been great.
