Service was outstanding (Kim is awesome), food is great, atmosphere is peaceful and fun. Love coming and will be back again.

My fiancé and I have tried out El Sombrero a couple of times and were not happy when we left. The first time I remember we got multiple different servers with no warning, and no one seemed to know what was going on with our table. The steak I had ordered was tough and overall we just didnt have a great time. Today, we were sat almost instantly, and then practically forgotten by our waiter even though we were very visible to him. He kept bouncing between two tables around us probably 10-15 times to see to them, and we got visited once to take our app order, once for our food order, once when my fiancé had been out of a drink for 15minutes to confirm a refill that took another 5 minutes to arrive, and then about 30 minutes later he gave us the bill. We had been done eating for quite a while by that point. I used to be a server, and give Grace for busy waiters and understand they may not have the capacity to go above and beyond, but I dont give grace for basic service. I physically watched him go above and beyond for these 2 tables, even climbing a booth to set food down in front of someone tucked into tge end of a booth, while being ignored. For the food, the salsa was pretty good, but we salted the chips ourselves. We ordered the spinach dip to just try it because we are familiar with what spinach dip usually is, and they gave us a small bowl of their white queso with a clump of soggy spinach laid in the middle. I had to stir all the spinach around just to break it up a bit, but my fiancé took the brunt and just was eating chips piled with spinach because we couldn't get to the queso under it. The actual meals were pretty good though. Overall we decided to take it off our "restaurants to cycle through" list completely, as the food is not enough to make up for the experience.

Server was all over the place. We ordered Queso which came out half way through us eating our main course. Waiter did not know menu or what sauces were. Waited over 10 min to checkout Waiter did out not come back, kindly advised him to lean the menu and to bring appetizers out before the meal. He started with excuses but I did not want to hear them. There are people better suited for his job that could do you proud and satisfy your guest. It was overwhelmingly hot inside. It was actually cooler outside than inside. That’s while the truck thermometer was readying 105 degrees.

Our waiter, Jason was fantastic. We never had to ask for anything. He was very attentive. Our chimichangas were great, as usual and their white queso is fabulous. Great atmosphere and great food. We highly recommend

The drinks were spectacular. Angie, our waitress made sure the chips salsa kept coming and she made our visit outstanding...thank you Angie..
