The Pro Shop was very friendly and very helpful pointing out where my course was. My first time playing in the state of Oklahoma and this course (south) I would have liked to have had more time to prepare but being a truck driver is tough sometimes so after I got dressed and cart to the truck and bag and the cart I had less than 20 minutes. So I remember some of the videos from *[Rick Shields and *Mr. Short game] as I went through Chipping and Putting, more Chipping and Putting, then over to the driving range to hit a few with the mid irons and the 3-wood which is been totally disastrous for me lately and the driver which I've been working on a lot better. They have two chipping and putting areas for warm up the driving range was sufficient for a quick and fast get ready to go. headed on over and the guy at the cart path and the First Tee Box was very friendly as well Fairways and rough was more elusive than defined. ! Water at 7 of first 10 ☹ holes. The back much dryer.🤩 They had nice Sand bunkers , but red clay sand not the good stuff. Biggest issue today was weather , windy and gusts 25 mph+, 20 percent local weather up till 1500 hours but we had 2 storms and severe wind at 10 30. And still greens was fast. Poured hole during 4,5,6, n, 7. Pro greens very profesional nice lay outs and protected by bunkers or there cut lines , was most impressed with the GREENS, no turtle shells or eggs . Creative style a plus.. Hole, 3 par 3s both front n back and 2 par 5s (4 total) all under 500 yards my goal was 88 today With the rain and almost loosing my ping drive on hole 6 . My new friend Bart is subsided to the weather. After the 7th hole rain stoped so i continued drying out by the turn , i got warmed up and let loose nailing 5 out 6 greens in regulations 3 for 3 on the fairways . Birdie on 14 , with a long 1 putt 24 footer . And missing eagle on 15 leaving a 7 in tap in for birdie. Club house pulled all players do to another storm with lighting . Last three holes was filled in with bogy to conclude the round, but only 15 holes was played.
