One of the best places in town! The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the portions are not only huge, but great quality as well. You know how other places give you these frozen clam strips with a wafer thin sliver of meat in them? Not here! Big thick pieces of hand battered clams, where the breading is thin enough that it has a nice crunch, but isn't the main thing you're eating. The drinks are great. The chowder is great. Everything is great, just go.
Spent the weekend in Maine and ate here on our first night. Started with a Pomegranate Blueberry Lemonade cocktail, was tasty and very refreshing. Cup of chowder, was good. I would have liked it more creamier. I ordered the Hot Buttered Lobster Roll with sweet potato fries. The size of the lobster roll for the price($24) was a good price for what I got. Lobster was sweet and fresh. My mom ordered the baked Haddock dinner with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was baked good. Finished off with a Brownie Fudge Sundae. Perfect for two to share.
