Dr. Lisa Mayes, OD - Total Vision Care

I came to Sylvester Eye Center for my eye exam, after moving away from my previous eye care provider. I arrived on time, and had to wait 30+ minutes in the lobby. The optometric assistant performed most of the measurements, such testing your eye pressure, visual field, refraction, acuity, etc. Afterwards, you spend 20+ minutes waiting for the optometrist to come in to perform the slit-lamp exam and sign off on the vision result. Aside from the long wait (spent over total of 1.5hr in this place) and the pushing of their products, I will probably come back.

Dr. Mayes has been my optometrist since I was 14! Now she's seeing my daughter and she had a great experience!!!! Got herself some cute pink glasses!

Best eye care place around. Dr. Mayes goes above and beyond every time. Due to a previous job, I have taken many children to Dr. Mayes. She specializes in pediatric optometry and really does well with children. Additionally, i take my own children to her and they have different special needs and she is great with each individual child. The optical shop has an amazing selection and makes sure your glasses are exactly what you need and want. Dr. Mayes and the optical shop stay up to date on all the latest information regarding both.
