5 Star Review By Sonia Hawkins
We've been going to Knights games every summer for years now, ever since some friends invited us. It's always a great experience all around. The games have a good turn-out even on non-event nights. The events are fantastic. They give very high quality memorabilia like mini wooden bats and nice ball caps. The food and drinks are great. Good quality options including burgers, hot dogs, nachos, frozen lemonade, ice cream, local brewery beers and ciders, etc. The athletics are great. We've watched several players who have since been drafted to the majors. This is one of my favorite ballparks, even including major league parks, because of the atmosphere. It's clean, there are shaded and sunny areas, surrounding the field are the scenic brick campus buildings and the new garden area near the parking. The parking can be found for free in some of the large lots. Even on busy nights like the fireworks night, it's fun and easy to get around. They have a QR code you can scan to order food delivered right to your seats. The students who work for the concessions are all polite and hard working. After every game, the field is opened up for kids to run the bases and get autographs from the players. There are fun crowd engagement activities like winning a free pizza, t-shirt tosses, and the mascots always visit the crowds and interact with the kids. Kids often gather and play together right outside of the stadium to catch balls that go over the bleachers. You can see them/keep an eye on them for safety by walking to the top of the bleachers, so we usually select seats at the top of the bleachers and let our kiddo play back there. All around great fun, even if you're solo and need an activity to get outside and relax.
