Overall we were very happy with the experience! We came to the first dinner service. We ordered the chicken, green beans, halibut, tomato tarte, potato side, and another app I can't remember. Everything was flavorful and moist! After seeing some of the other reviews I expected to be disappointed in the food, but we all were very happy! I am also diabetic and the staff helped me chose the right mocktail and the food was very fresh and healthy It is very expensive so not somewhere I could come often. However each entree was big so I suggest 2-3 splitting an entree and a couple other items! That made it more cost friendly for us. Good service, cute ambiance, great time!

Clink! – Salem’s Toast-Worthy New Bistro Clink! isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a mood. Perched on the second floor of The Forge in downtown Salem, this French-American spot is unapologetically chic, with velvet seating, floral accents, and lighting that flatters everything from your cocktail to your selfie. The mushroom crêpe was delicious; this dish wraps wild mushrooms in a paper-thin crêpe with just the right touch of cream. Croque Monsieur Golden, gooey, and gloriously indulgent. The ham is smoky, the cheese is melty, and the béchamel sauce ties it all together. The scene is designed with women in mind but welcoming to all, Clink! is part restaurant, part gathering space. Whether you’re catching up with friends or on a date night, the vibe is warm, stylish, and a little bit fabulous. Clink! brings a fresh sparkle to Salem’s dining scene. It’s where French flair meets Oregon.
Clink is brand new and completely Instagram worthy with a beautiful and creative atmosphere. It’s located upstairs in the new Forge building in downtown Salem and it’s worth a visit. Our service was excellent by the food was only okay to me. The prices are way too high (a tiny side of aoli was $4). I will return to try something else, after they’ve been open a bit longer, but it’s not someplace I will be very be a regular at. The food and drink does not support the pricing.
