City of Yuma Ball Field Complex

This is a big new complex with a lot of parking on the edge of town. When I searched campgrounds in Yuma google listed this. So I came here to camp. Just for the night. And after two hours I had a visit from a young police officer. I explained I would be here just for the night. He “ran“ my drivers license and said fine and he was on his way. Big parking lot, gravel. No facilities but better than a Walmart parking lot.

Great fields, well groomed. Plenty of areas to sit and watch the games. Only downfall is one field doesn't have any lights which makes it a little hard to see during late games.

Beautiful baseball facility. They host a Babe Ruth tourney sometimes. Is also now the gathering place for the fireworks on July 3.
