Church in Norman

We are one of the older families that meet here. We love meeting new students, love having fellowship with them, reading the bible with them, having meals with them. The student club gives students many opportunities on and off campus to get to know Christ in the word, for fellowship, leadership, practical service, and fun activities. The focus is definitely knowing God, Christ and the Bible. There are also several young families with babies, toddlers, and children. So it is a great mix of ages. Fall 2020 we have some that meet in person (socially distanced and masked) and several of us on zoom simultaneously.

I have been meeting here for more than 15 years and week by week I enjoy the fellowship, speaking and care from all the members and with all the members. As Peter said to the Lord when the Lord asked Him if they too were going to leave, Peter answered and said “Lord to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life,” my experience is the same, I find words full of life meeting here!

I met the believers in the Church in Norman when I was at OU for grad school. I was seeking God, but knew little about the actual content of the Bible. Fast forward 6 years and the Bible has become so clear and real. Come here for reality.
