Chuck E. Cheese

So I rate this Chuck E Cheese 5 stars. Keep in mind that this is a 5 star rating for a kid-focused Chuck E Cheese, and the ratings like for food are compared to that , not a restaurant like Lexington's Carson's. Gone are the days are the animatronics that we grew up with as a kid, so kids today don't get the awesomely traumatic nightmarws that we did. It's all telecast puppets, with the exception of one hourly employee on rotation who gets to dress in the mascot outfit. I kind of miss the jerky movements of carnival-style mechanical men, but I digress... The pizza was a lot better than expected. I didn't get the salad bar, so I can't say. But the place was clean, the staff assigned to our birthday party was friendly, and it was a good experience all around for our kid.

My family and I had the best time there. The staff was super friendly to everyone. They have a halloween theme and are giving out candy. They also have for the month of October a 60 minute video game special.

Had my six year olds birthday party there and the staff was AMAZING! My son and his friends had an absolute ball, and it was because of them. The stand out staff member is named Precious, and she is phenomenal. These people work HARD, and I'm sure the parents can be difficult and entitled at times - but the staff is kind and patient.
